Curriculum for Excellence: update March 10

Curriculum for Excellence: Maths example

Edinburgh headteachers are seriously concerned by the prospect of serious cuts to school budgets in 2010 and beyond.  The Parent Council, chaired by Francis Barkey, along with their counterparts across the city are actively campaigning for school budgets to be protected.
At City level, our school is very effectively represented on the Consultative Committee with Parents by Tricia Aitchison.

Liz Carrie and Claire Atkins have been continually and successfully lobbying parents, local Councillors, MSP's and Government Ministers to ensure the dire consequences on our childrens education of the proposed budgets are full understood.

For more information contact the Parent Council members.

Dear Parent
Further to my email regarding budget cuts the Parent Council would be very grateful if you will take the time to sign this on-line petition regarding budget cuts.
